⭐️ Release Description:
Understate is Leeds-based DJ and production duo Dan Franks & Charlie Kirkland. The pair stormed on the scene in 2018 following massive support from BBC Introducing and an invitation to play Radio 1's Ibiza Weekend. Heavy coverage from Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong, Huw Stephens and Monki soon followed with the latter inviting them on her show and then her UK tour.

Festivals and touring continued to grow after joining the likes of Hannah Wants, Gorgon City and Sonny Fodera on tour as well as warming up Camelphat, Solardo and Patrick Topping across major festivals and events including The Warehouse Project, Creamfields, Parklife, We Are FSTVL, Studio 338 and NASS to name just a few. That also led to Understate being named residents for Croatia's Hideout festival.

After topping Beatport charts with their dancefloor banger 'Like A Drum' on Nasty Funk Records in 2018 and becoming the most successful release on the label, A&R's across the industry soon picked them up for releases including Solardo's SOLA and Sonny Fodera's Solotoko imprints plus remixes for major labels and the likes of Louis The Child and French Horn Rebellion.

2022 has seen the lads gain further support from radio shows such as Gorgon City (KISS), DJ S.K.T (KISS), Jaguar (Radio 1), BBC Introducing and many more with releases out / forthcoming on Will Taylor's Freak, DJ S.K.T's Stashed and Lee Foss' South of Saturn and with many more still to be announced it's easy to see why there is so much hype around Understate.

We're happy to get them on board with two of their brand-new chart smashers in 'Non Stop' EP.
